Regional Focus SoCal 2026

This year's fellowship cohort will be regionally based, with the 2026 cohort centered in Southern California. Applicants should currently reside in or near Southern California, or plan to relocate to the region prior to the program start date.

Program Overview

The Access Ventures Fellowship is an annual, 10-month program designed to support bold, mission-driven leaders between the ages of 22–30 who are committed to advancing human flourishing through innovative projects. Fellows receive a $20,000 stipend, personalized mentorship, and leadership development resources, along with opportunities to connect with a dynamic cohort of peers. The program includes three in-person gatherings, two virtual gatherings, and monthly virtual check-ins, all intended to help Fellows refine their ideas and grow their impact.

This Fellowship is not an idea accelerator.  It is an opportunity for Fellows to test ideas, develop skills, and deepen self-awareness, practicing decision-making, problem-solving, and influence in real time.

By the end of the Fellowship, participants are imaginative, grounded leaders ready to translate ideas into action, steward resources and relationships with integrity, and foster communities where others can flourish. Applications are accepted through February 27.

Time & Participation Commitment

Participation is a commitment to growth, reflection, and leadership formation. Fellows engage in:

  •  Three In-Person Gatherings – immersive experiences to strengthen cohort bonds and leadership skills. Key dates:
  1. August 16-19 2026 in San Diego
  2. January 5-7 2027 in NYC
  3. May 10-12 2027 in Los Angeles
  • Two Virtual Gatherings – a quarterly virtual gathering that brings the fellows together to explore a focused topic designed to challenge assumptions, broaden perspectives, and deepen their approach to leadership.
  •  Ongoing Project Support & 1:1 Mentorship – monthly check-ins for guidance, reflection, and accountability

The Fellowship spans 10 months, with an expected 5-10 hours/week dedicated to projects and learning. The $20,000 stipend reflects both support and the expectation that Fellows fully invest themselves in this transformative season.
